Imaging and audio specialist, Dominic Glynn, has delivered 23 Pixar feature films and countless theatrical shorts to their big-screen debut. Dominic’s purview at Pixar includes binding yet-to-emerge technologies with the creative processes of storytelling. He remains at the forefront of groundbreaking technology launches in cinema including the first ever theatrical 7.1 mix (Toy Story 3 - 2010), first ATMOS release (Brave – 2012), the world’s first DolbyCinema exhibition (Inside Out, CinemaCon 2015) and the worldwide premiere of DCI Next Generation HDR cinema releases (Lightyear, Elemental, Inside Out 2) not to mention the launch of both 3D and HDR titles on Apple’s Vision Pro.
Dominic serves on the Science and Technology Council for the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, the board of the Advanced Imaging Society and is currently leading Pixar’s endeavors in High Dynamic Range (HDR), mastering and exhibition.
